During my recent stay, I was thrilled to discover how close we were to York Minster, only about a 10-minute walk away, and we also enjoyed a lovely 25-minute stroll to the National Railway Museum, making our city explorations so convenient and enjoyable.

Comfortable stay with a warm welcome
I had a lovely two-night stay in a family room, which was spacious and clean. The staff was incredibly welcoming, even accommodating our early arrival with luggage storage and helping us feel right at home. Plus, the full English breakfast was a highlight, providing a delicious start to the day. The only downside was the slightly tight parking situation, but we managed well.

we had a great time at burton villa. loved the family room, especially the separate single bed room, super comfy! staff were nice and took care of our bags when we arrived early. also, the tv in each room was a bonus. The drinks in the room were handy. even tho it’s not super central, we had easy bus access to the city center.

Decent stay overall. The room felt spacious and had a separate bed for my son. Limited parking space made it tricky for our large car. Close to city center, easy walking distance to attractions.

Had a great time with friends! We explored the local museums and took a stroll through the beautiful gardens nearby. The room was spacious, and the on-site parking was super helpful. The staff were friendly.
One downside was we encountered dog fouling on the entrance path that took two days to be cleaned up. It was a bit off-putting.

The hosts provided a warm welcome, and the home-cooked breakfast featured excellent toast and cereals. The location was a mere 15-minute walk to the city center, which made sightseeing convenient. the staircase to the room was quite steep, and the bathroom had noticeable mould that should be addressed. The overall decor felt dated, which detracted from the experience. Though the bed was comfortable, the shower was disappointingly slow, taking away from an otherwise pleasant stay.
